Directions to Schools

Auburn HS 405 S Dean Rd Auburn	^-	Take I-65 south to I-85 (exit 171). Take I-85 North towards Atlanta (You can only go North). Take exit 51 for US-29 towards Auburn. Turn left at end of ramp (becomes AL-147/S College St) Continue on AL-147/S College for about 3 miles. Turn right at E. Samford Ave. Go 1 mile. Turn right onto S Dean Rd. School will be on left.
Benjamin Russell HS 225 Heard Blvd Alexander City	^-	Take Highway 280 to Alexander City. Stay on Hwy 280 - Go past the Walmart; watch for Jamison Inn on the left and Best Western and Captain D's on the right. At the next light, turn left. Go up the hill (past KFC) to the light, and turn left. You will pass the Junior College (on right). Go to the light, and take a left. Stay on this and turn right into the school.
Buckhorn HS 4123 Winchester Rd Madison County	^-	Take I-65 North. Take exit 340( AL-20 E/I-565 E/US-72-ALT E ) towards Huntsville. Follow I-565 E for 22.5 miles. I-565 E will become US-72 E. Follow US-72 E for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Moores Mill Road. Go 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Winchester Rd NE. Go 7.3 miles. School is on left.
Bumpus MS 1730 Lake Cyrus Club Rd Hoover	^-	From I-459, take Exit 10 (Highway 150- Hoover Met exit). Turn right at the bottom of the ramp toward Bessemer. Travel approximately one mile and continue straight through the traffic light at South Shades Chest/Shades Crest Road. Turn Left into Lake Cyrus Subdivision. Go approximately one mile to a stop sign and turn right onto Lake Cyrus Club Drive. Look for the school on the left approximately three blocks.
Clay-Chalkville HS & MS 6623 Roe Chandler Rd Pinson	^-	Take the I-459 N exit towards Atlanta. Take exit 33B, towards Gadsden (this puts you on I-59). Take exit 143 - Deerfoot Pkwy. Turn right onto Deerfoot Parkway and travel 2-3 miles. Turn right onto Trussville-Clay Rd and travel 1 mile. High School is first, and Middle School is beside it, located on the left
Cleburne County HS 520 Evans Bridge Rd Heflin	^-	Take I-459 N towards Atlanta. take exit 29 to merge onto I-29 E towards Atlanta. Take exit 199 (AL-9) to Heflin/Hollis. At end of ramp turn left. go 1.5 miles. Turn right at US-78. Go 0.4 mile. Turn right at Brandt St ( Will become Blake Street). Take 4th street on right, onto Duke Drive. Go 0.7 mile. Turn left onto Evans Bridge Rd(CR-84). School is on left.
Erwin HS 532 23rd Avenue N.W. Birmingham	^-	Take I-65 to Birmingham; at Malfunction Junction, exit on I-59/20 North. Take the Tallapoosa Street Exit (also labeled Hwy 79 north.) The road is marked with mile markers. Travel through Tarrant City. Just past mile marker 8 turn right at the traffic light on Sun Hill Road. Approximately 1/2 mile later make a right hand turn onto Sun Valley Road. 4/10ths of a mile later you will be at the Carson Road intersection. Go straight through the intersection and Sun Valley Road becomes 23rd Avenue NW. Erwin High is located 1/2 mile ahead on the left.
Hartselle HS 904 South Sparkman St., SW Hartselle	^-	Take I-65 N to the first Hartselle exit – Thompson Road exit. After you exit, turn back left and go to Hwy 31 (4 lane hwy.) Turn right. At the first traffic light, bear right. (There is a funeral home on your right and motel on left). This brings you up by school. When you get to the school, turn right on Day Street just past the school. This street takes you around to the gym.
Hewitt-Trussville HS 5275 Trussville Clay Rd Trussville	^-	Take I-459 N towards Atlanta. Take exit 33B, towards Gadsden. Take exit 141 toward Trussville/Pinson. Take a right. Go about 2 blocks, then take a left (past Wendys) onto Green Drive. Go to the end of this street and take another left onto Trussville Clay Road. Go about 1 mile and the school is on the right
Hewitt-Trussville MS 301 Parkway Dr Trussville	^-	Take I-459 N towards Atlanta. Take exit 33B, towards Gadsden. Take exit 141 toward Trussville/Pinson. Bear to the right. Go about a mile. Turn left on South Mall Road. Go past the grassy area and tennis courts - school is at end
Hillcrest HS 300 Patriot Pkwy Tuscaloosa	^-	Take I-459 South to Tuscaloosa. Merge onto I-20/I-59 S to Tuscaloosa. Take Exit 71A (Moundville) onto I-359/Hwy 69 South. Continue on Hwy 69 South until you reach the 7th traffic light. Turn left at 7th light. (CVS Pharmacy is on right hand corner of intersection). This will be Patriot Parkway. The school will be on the left.
Homewood HS 1901 Lakeshore Dr S Homewood	^-	(From I-65N)-Take I-65 North to the Lakeshore exit. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Go across Greensprings, and stay in the right lane. At the 2nd traffic light, turn right. (This is the light just before Samford University main entrance). The gym is located at the back of the building, so drive around the school to park.
Homewood MS 395 Mecca Ave Homewood	^-	From (I-65N)-Take I-65 North to the Homewood/Oxmoor exit. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Turn left on Greensprings Hwy. At the 2nd light, turn right on Valley Avenue. Go about 3/4 mile - you will see Homewood middle School on the right.
Hoover HS 1000 Buccaneer Dr Hoover	^-	(From Pelham via I-65)-Exit I-65 at exit # 250 onto I-459 South toward Tuscaloosa (you will be bearing left on the exit ramp). Drive 5 miles along I-459 South and exit at exit # 10 (the Hoover exit). Turn left at the bottom of the exit onto Hwy 150 East. Drive 0.4 miles to the second traffic light and turn right into the entrance of "Trace Crossings" (you will be traveling toward The Hoover Metropolitan Stadium). Drive 0.7 miles and turn left onto Learning Lane. Drive 0.5 miles along Learning Lane and the road will intersect (dead end) the Hoover High School Drive. From this intersection you will be able to see the high school ahead. Turn right at this intersection. Drive 0.1 mile and you will pass the entrance to Hoover High.
Hueytown HS 131 Dabbs Ave Hueytown	^-	Take I-459 S toward Tuscaloosa. Merge on to I-20 E / I-59 N. Take the 18th and 19th Street exit #112. Cross 18th Street and turn left on to 19th Street. 19th Street becomes Hueytown Road. Follow Hueytown Road and stay in the right lane. At a traffic light, the road will "Y", and you need to stay "straight-ish" to continue on Hueytown Road/19th. At the 2nd traffic light, turn right on to Forrest Avenue (turn just in front of the Conoco). The school is on the left at 131 Dabbs Avenue.
R. E. Lee HS 225 Ann Street Montgomery	^-	Take I-65 south to I-85 (exit 171). Take I-85 North towards Atlanta (You can only go North). Take exit 3, - turn left on to Ann Street. You will pass an Amoco Gas Station on your right, you will cross Highland Ave. at the red light, you will pass apartments on your right and the school will be on your right about two blocks later, the practice field is on your right. The Gym is in the back parking lot of the first turn-in you come to, you will see the practice field just before you need to turn right.
Leeds HS 8404 Greenwave Dr Leeds	^-	Go up 119, continue straight across Hwy 280 towards Leeds. (Will travel about 8-9 miles after Hwy 280). Go through a traffic light, go a couple of blocks, then bear to left. You will see the elementary school on the left. Go straight through the traffic light at the elementary school. Watch for a Chevron on the right. At the second traffic light past Chevron, take a right. Go about 2 blocks. Leeds High School is on the left.
McAdory HS 4800 High School Rd McCalla	^-	Take 459 towards Tuscaloosa. Take Exit 1 towards McCalla. Turn left on to Eastern Valley Road/CR-18. (go over interstate). At the red light – turn right into school. Parking is in front of school or directly below the gym.
Minor HS 2285 Minor PKWY Adamsville	^-	Take I-65 to B’ham, then I-59 toward Tuscaloosa. First exit is Arkadelphia Road. At end of ramp, turn right onto Hwy 78 West. Go about 7-8 miles up Hwy 78. Watch for the Walmart Supercenter on your left. Then, watch for an exit ramp onto Minor Parkway. At end of ramp, turn left and go back under Hwy 78. Minor parkway begins as 2 lane, but becomes 4 lane highway. Takes you to Minor High School.
Moody HS 714 High School Dr Moody	^-	Take I-459 N towards Atlanta. take exit 29 to merge onto I-29 E towards Atlanta. Take exit 144B for US-411 N towards Moody/Odenville. Merge onto Moody Pkwy/US-411. Go 4.6 miles. Turn right onto High School Drive.
Mountain Brook HS 32 Vine St Mountain Brook	^-	Take I-459 toward Atlanta. Exit at Liberty Parkway. Turn right - Go under the interstate (This puts you on Overton Road). Stay on Overton Road - go 3 blocks to the traffic light. Turn right at light onto Oakdale Drive. Stay on Oakdale Drive to the traffic light - take a right which puts you at Mountain Brook High School.
Mountain Brook Jr. HS 205 Overbrook Road Mountain Brook	^-	Take I-65 . Take exit 252 onto Hwy 31, headed toward Vestavia Hills. Go 4.5 mile, take the AL-149 S ramp. Merge onto Shades Creek Parkway, which becomes Mountain Brook Parkway. Turn left onto Overbrook Road
Oak Mountain HS 4576 Caldwell Mill Rd Birmingham	^-	From I-65 North - take exit 246 (Highway 119 exit). Turn left onto Hwy 119. Continue on Hwy 119 for 3.0 miles. Turn left at the traffic light at the intersection of Caldwell Mill & Hwy 119. There will be a Sunny Foods with a Shell Service Station on the left at the intersection. Oak Mountain High School is about ½ mile on the left.
Pell City HS 1300 Cogswell Ave Pell City	^-	Take I-20 toward Atlanta. Take Exit 156 - Eden Exit. Take a right. Go about 2 miles. School is on the right. (If you reach the first traffic light, you’ve gone too far.)
Pinson Valley HS 6895 No 75 Hwy Pinson	^-	Take I-65 to B'ham-- then I-59 North to the Tallapoosa Street exit. Turn right on to Pinson Valley Parkway (HWY 79). Drive north 9.2 miles, then turn right on to HWY 151 (Narrows Road). Drive 1 mile north to PVHS.
Pizitz MS 2020 Pizitz Dr Vestavia Hills	^-	From Interstate 65 North: Take the Vestavia/Hoover Exit #12. Merge to the Right onto Highway 31. Go about ½ mile to Pizitz Drive. Take a right. Take a right up the hill.
Prattville HS 1315 Upper Kingston Rd Prattville	^-	Take I-65 S. Take Prattville/Pine Level exit (Exit 186). Bear right on Hwy 31 – Go 2.5 miles. Watch on your right for a sign to Prattville HS. Turn right just past Kohns store onto CR 23/Martin Luther King Dr. Take next right onto Moses. Then turn "slightly left" at onto Upper Kingston. High School will be on the right.
Shades Valley HS 6100 Old Leeds Hwy Birmingham	^-	(From Pelham I-65): Exit I-65 at exit # 250 onto I-459 South toward Atlanta (you will be bearing right on the exit ramp). Take 459 North towards Atlanta, take Grants Mill Road exit.(#27) At the top of the exit ramp, turn left. Grants Mill Road will dead end onto Old Leeds Road. Turn right on Old Leeds and you will see the school a half mile on your left.
Spain Park HS 4700 Jaguar Dr Hoover	^-	Stay on Valleydale Road toward Hwy 280. Go across Caldwell Mill Road. School will be on the left, but is off the highway. You can see it from Valleydale Road
St Clair County HS 100 1st Ave Odenville	^-	Take I-65 to I-459. Take I-459 towards Atlanta. Take I-20 towards Atlanta. Take exit 144-B. This puts you on Hwy 411 N. Stay on 411 about 11 miles. (Get in far left lane, because right lane ends at Moody crossroads.) When you get to Odenville, pass the traffic light and Jacks – go about 2 blocks. Turn right at the Chevron station – turn right. Go over railroad tracks, past elementary school, and on to high school
Thompson HS 100 Warrior Dr Alabaster	^-	Take I-65 S towards Montgomery. Take Exit 238 (US-31) towards Alabaster. Merge onto US-31. Go 0.7 miles on US-31. Turn Left onto AL-119/Montevallo Rd (will cross over railroad tracks). Go about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Thompson Road (just past Thompson Intermediate School) Go about 0.5 miles to the traffic light at Warrior Drive. Turn left onto Warrior Drive. School will be on right.
Thompson MS 1509 Kent Dairy Rd Alabaster	^-	Take I-65 S towards Montgomery. Take Exit 238 (US-31) towards Alabaster. Merge onto US-31. Go 0.7 miles on US-31. Turn Left onto AL-119/Montevallo Rd (will cross over railroad tracks). Go about 2 miles. Turn right onto Kent Dairy Road. School will be 0.6 miles ahead on right. School is on a hill.
Tuscaloosa County HS 12500 Wildcat Dr Northport	^-	Take I-59 to Tuscaloosa. Take the 359/Northport exit. Stay on that road. 359 will run through downtown Tuscaloosa and over the river. Stay on it . It will intersect with 82W. Go through the intersection. You are still on the same road but now it has become 69N. Go up 69 approximately 4 miles. There will be a stop light and a sign for the high school at the intersection of 69 and Mitt Larry Road. Make a left on Mitt Larry and take it until it comes to the high school
Vestavia Hills HS 2235 Lime Rock Rd Vestavia Hills	^-	(From I-65) -Take I-65 North to Montgomery Highway Exit (Exit 252). Turn Right onto Hwy. 31 North. Follow Highway 31 North to the Third Stop Light. Turn Right onto Vestridge Drive. Go straight at stop sign. Go to Gay Way and turn left. Go to next stop sign and turn left onto Panorama Drive. Go to next stop sign and turn right onto Lime Rock Road. School is down the hill on the right. (From 459 N)-Take I-65 to I-459 North to Acton Road exit. Turn left on Acton Road. Go to second stop light. Turn right onto Old Rocky Ridge Road. Go to stop light and turn right onto Rocky Ridge Road. Follow Rocky Ridge Road to the second stop light. Turn left onto Morgan Drive.
