In the second year of wrestling at Pelham, the varsity wrestling team racked up another great season. The dual record for this year for four wins and four losses. Several wrestlers placed extremely high in tournaments this year. The highest recognition was given to Bobby Nadler, who placed first at Shades valley. He also placed fourth at Minor and Sixth at state sectionals. Rob Satterwhite was also high contender this season. He finished second at Shades Valley and fifth at State sectionals. The wrestling team had several other outstanding wrestlers such as Timmy Lawson, brian Philen, Jason Lang, David Driver, and Robby Clark. The wrestlers, along with Coach Lavett, anticipate next season when they may become 6A contenders.
