Varsity Team

The 1997 Varsity Wrestling Team had an excellent season. They gave an outstanding performance at the Minor Invitationals. The entire team took second at the Gardendale Invitational.

Freshman Team

The JV team had a record of 5-5. They had big wins over John Carroll and Gardendale. The team included two 7th grade wrestlers from Riverchase Middle School. At the Vestavia Tournament, Todd Wise placed 1st and Scott Noyes earned 3rd. In the Pinson Valley Tournament Scott Noyes was 1st. When the team travelled to Hewitt-Trussvill, Frank Boatner placed second, while Jason Hayes and David Mullins placed 4th. Scott Noys came in 3rd and David Mullins came in 4th in the  Jefferson County Tournmaent.
