1999-2000 Panther Wrestling
Coach Joel London
Coach Bob Parker
The wrestling team was full of new experiences as it entered the season. They had a new Head Coach, Joel London. They had a young team with the majority being sophomores, and they had five wrestlers that went to state and four that placed.
The team practiced an average of four times a week. The practice schedule included a warm-up, technique, and a lot of conditioning and live wrestling.
They had tournaments on Saturdays all over the state, as well as individual matches during the week. They achieved many accomplishments, such as placing fourth at sectionals with only 10 out of 14 men present. The team as a whole placed 8th at State with four individual placements:
Billy Rigdon - 3rd
Scott Noyes - 4th
Patrick Bell - 4th
Chris Adams - 4th
