NUTRITION and WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

Wrestlers should have a balanced diet, with a variety of nutritious foods, including proteins, carbs, and some fats.  There is no need to purchase special foods, supplements, herbs, or sports drinks. Just make nutritious decisions about what you eat. Eat small frequent meals, and avoid "supersize" fast foods! Questions asked by young athletes

Avoid foods or supplements with the following ingredients: DHEA  *   Andro/Norandro  *  Tribulus Terrestis  *  Yohimbe  *  Ephedra (Ma Huang)  *  GHB/GBL  *  Caffeine-containing products (guarana, mate, kola nut)
