PRACTICE
INFORMATION
ALL
WRESTLERS!!
Every effort is being made to keep
the mat, weight and locker rooms clean and a low risk area for
staph, but you must also do your part.
To prevent the chance of a staph
or other skin infection it is essential that you practice good
hygiene! - Shower immediately after practice, wash your hands
often or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, keep all cuts
covered with a bandage, DO NOT share personal items such
as towels, razors, etc.
Launder your practice clothes as
soon as possible (do not leave them to mildew and grow bacteria
in your gym bag!). Regularly clean your gym bag or wipe
down/spray it with a product such as Lysol.
DO NOT wear your wrestling shoes
outside. Wash headgear or wipe down with a disinfecting wipe.
Periodically wash your wrestling shoes and knee pads (gentle
cycle, mild detergent, air dry). |
